Mrs. Engel feels the need to be around her husband constantly, even though he can still go out on his own or stay home alone for a few hours. She feels it is necessary to stay with him since, otherwise, he would lose a healthy sleep/wake cycle and any rhythm around meal times.

E: Er schläft lange. Eine Zeitlang kam er am Morgen um 06:30 Uhr runter. Jetzt wird es 12:00, 13:00 Uhr bis er kommt. Aber ich weiss nicht, ob auch das irgendwie mit dem ganzen Rhythmus zusammenhängt. Ich weiss es nicht. Das Essen… er isst nicht mehr viel, aber immer wieder. So alle zwei bis drei Stunden kommt er und holt sich wieder etwas. Das ist auch so ein Zeichen.
