This website is run by the DIPEx.ch research group, based at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine, University of Zurich. Your data is processed by or on behalf of DIPEx.ch.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that your data is secure. We will not store your data for any longer than is reasonably necessary. Please contact us directly if your story appears on the website and you would like to find out how we handle your data.

We are unable to provide any medical advice and we ask that you do not contact us disclosing any information about your health or the health of a friend or relative.

We will not sell your data. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties. As mentioned above, we cannot answer individual requests for medical advice or support. In the eventuality we receive emails that give us cause for concern over an individual’s safety we may pass on contact details to a third party who can help.
