TRANSCRIPT

Interviewer: Have you also tried other Chinese alternative medicine? Alain G.: Yes, I have tried everything. Interviewer: Yes? Then tell me about it. Alain G.: I have tried Chinese medicine, as you say, with acupuncture. In the beginning it had a great effect because it was something completely new for me, I really felt like I was floating on a cloud, but that quickly wore off, that was in the beginning. I think in the long run it could have been something, but I think more for the calmness and nerves than anything else. I think it was more based on that. Otherwise I would also guess charlatans. Interviewer: You consulted everyone. Alain G.: Definitely a good panel of everything. Interviewer: And were there things that worked better than others in your opinion? Alain G.: No, I don't think so. No, the only thing that was really good was the quietness, I think that was the thing that was really important, the fact that I could be Zen. So just listening to calm music and then closing my eyes, that could already help me to relax. I think the main thing that mattered was that I put a bit of emphasis on calm.
