Excessive movements

Marie V. can no longer stand the excessive movements and therefore decides to have the operation.

TRANSCRIPT

Interviewer: Why did you have the operation? Marie V.: I had no other choice. Otherwise I would have ended up in the ground because I was so fidgety. And it also bothered me, I couldn't sit still, so the people sitting next to me always looked over and thought, "yes, she is not in her right mind." And when I went shopping in O [grocery shop], people would come and ask "can I take something down for you?" and I was only 67 at the time. So I thought, "well, I'm not that old." But people wanted to help me.
