E io ero come: Oh, per cosa si sta scusando? Ma poi non ho fatto altre domande. Ma forse è stato un po' brusco o troppo severo con me. Et il était comme, oui, il s'est excusé aussi. Et je me suis dit : "Oh, pourquoi s'excuse-t-il ? Mais ensuite, je n'ai plus posé de questions. Mais peut-être qu'il était un peu dur ou trop strict avec moi. Je pense qu'il était aussi avec moi la nuit où j'ai arraché mon propre tube. Mais je n'avais qu'une seule infirmière en tête à l'époque. Elle m'a vraiment grondé et crié dessus, mais je n'ai pas trouvé ça mauvais. J'ai trouvé cela plus rassurant et elle s'inquiétait pour moi, et oui, elle ne voulait que du bien.

I: Es war einfach die gleiche Person oder hat die tatsächlich irgend in einer Form gequält? 
E: Nein, das weiss ich nicht. Ich habe dann auch mit ihm geredet, aber erst einen Tag später oder so. Und ich habe mich entschuldigt, obwohl ich gar nicht weiss, für was ich mich entschuldigte. Und er dann so, ja er entschuldigt sich auch. Und ich so: Ach für was entschuldigt er sich? Dann habe ich aber nicht weiter gefragt. Aber er war vielleicht ein bisschen grob oder zu streng mit mir. Ich glaube, er war auch in der Nacht dabei, wo ich mir den Schlauch selber rausgerissen habe. Aber da habe ich nur eine Schwester im Kopf gehabt. Die hat auch richtig mit mir geschimpft und mich angeschrien, aber das empfand ich nicht als schlimm. Das fand ich eher als so beruhigend und die macht sich Sorgen um mich und ja die meint es nur gut.

The nurse was very strict with Y. so that there was a feeling of fear and threat.

"That was (nickname A), that was her name. That's the nickname among the carers. (Nickname A). Because she's so bony and so robust. Erm. She really folded me up. That was right, because I didn't understand. Firstly, why there were a hundred tubes hanging from my body. And I don't think I understood that I could "easily" die from it either. Not that it could have cost me my life if the tube had ripped out my lungs or I got stuck or God knows what. And I think, how could it? I just panicked. I can't say anything. I also dreamt about it, but at the moment when I ripped the tube out, I don't know anything, I only know about the moment when the carer yelled at me or tells me that it's dangerous. I could tell from her voice that she was angry and scared for me at the same time.
